What is the difference between license pricing?

Retail - Is licensed to Commercial and Home environments. Includes manufacturer technical support. Same as you would find in a physical store.

OEM - Being intended for system builders, OEM software does not include a box or comprehensive manual. This is a fully functional version of the software. Please note, OEM software is not covered for technical support by the manufacturer and in some cases OEM software may not be used to upgrade from a previous version.

Volume - Volume Licensing is a service offered by a manufacturer for organizations that require multiple licenses, but not the software media, packaging and documentation supplied with the full packaged product (FPP). The advantages of Volume Licensing include lower price per installation, two- or three-year license agreements and product use rights. An example of product use rights is copying the software for simultaneous use on multiple computers and devices.

Academic - Is licensed to students and faculty. Please consult with the actual product for further requirements. Academic verification is required to activate software.

Government - Is licensed to Government environments.
